Uttar Pradesh Bhulekh shows public khasra–khata records. It is not a final title deed and not a mutation form.
Steps
- Type
upbhulekh.gov.inin the browser — do not open a chat-app link. - District Deoria, tehsil Barhaj, village Katiyari (the list may spell कटियारी / Katiari).
- Enter khata or khasra number. If you do not know it, ask the lekpal.
- Save or print the copy. A phone screenshot may not be enough in an office.
If the name is missing
Unofficial maps often flatten the village to “Katiyar”. Search Katiyari on the portal. If it still fails, take the neighbouring-village boundary and the old khatauni number to the lekpal.
Captcha, session timeouts, and downed servers are common. Try again in the morning. This site never asks for an OTP.
Verify at the tehsil. This is a guide, not a land office.
Maps and inheritance
Visit UP Bhunaksha for land-map information. Match the district, village and plot in available records. Ask the tehsil about missing records or boundary disputes; do not alter boundaries on the basis of an online map.
See mutation guidance for updating records after inheritance.
