Call 1930 and report through the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal. Notify your bank or payment provider through its official channel immediately. Reporting does not guarantee recovery.
Keep the transaction date, amount, reference number, relevant messages, screenshots and bank complaint reference. Save your reporting acknowledgement and follow instructions on the official portal.
Suspicious communication without a loss
Use Chakshu on Sanchar Saathi for suspected fraudulent calls, SMS or WhatsApp messages. If money has already been lost, use 1930 and the cybercrime portal rather than relying on a Chakshu report alone.
Do not pay someone who promises recovery or share your OTP or banking password. Open official websites directly instead of following links sent by strangers.
